The Alien prequel that wouldn’t settle—modes of watching, writing, and looking at Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.
What this is
Prometheus Movie is a reader-built reference around Prometheus (2012)—Ridley Scott’s science-fiction horror that sent a deep-space expedition looking for answers and found something colder. We’re not a wiki, a news desk, or a studio channel. We’re the long conversation after the credits: how the film works, how it argues with Alien and Alien: Covenant, and why people still argue about it years later.
It is a hobby project by Anchal K. (anch.al)—built for the love of the film, not as a business or studio tie-in.
The site’s editorial line matches the meta you already saw: A movie guide for fans of Prometheus: unofficial essays, timeline, stills, cast notes, and quizzes about Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel and the films around it.
What you’ll find here
- Timeline: release order, chronology, and hybrid marathons spelled out for first-timers and repeat offenders.
- Guides: explainers, comparisons, post-credits facts, franchise timeline shortcuts, and where to stream.
- Blog: long-form essays on craft, myth, sound, design, and franchise politics, credited to Anchal K..
- Photos: stills chosen to be looked at, not scrolled past, with paths out to IMDb when you want provenance.
- Quiz: a rotating set of questions so “one more run” actually means something different.
- Cast: who boards the ship, what they want, and how the ensemble carries the film’s ideas.

Corrections & feedback
Film reference sites age like milk in the sun: dates shift, credits get clarified, and a better frame for an argument shows up at three in the morning. If you spot a factual slip or a broken outbound link, write to hi@prometheus-movie.com. We can’t promise instant fixes, but we do read serious notes.
